As Commis Chef, you will have previous kitchen experience . You will have mastered the basic skills, and have fundamental knowledge of food. You have a keen interest in food, an eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness. The role provides the opportunity to move around the kitchen working on various sections such as veg, pastry, fish and sauce to develop and build on basic skills. Responsibilities vary but you will do a lot of preparation work and basic cooking, under the supervision and guidance of more experienced chefs.

Working as a Demi Chef de Partie in The Burlington Kitchen, you will assist the Sous Chefs/Chef de Parties in the daily preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times. You will ensure that your designated section, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the required standards. Experience within at least a 3 Rosette Kitchen is required for this role.
