We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated chef to join our exciting Devonshire Hotels & Restaurant Group. You will work on a relief chef basis where required. We have the following properties; The Devonshire Arms and Cavendish Pavilion, Bolton Abbey; The Devonshire Fell, Burnsall both in North Yorkshire and 2 Devonshire Arms pubs at Beeley and Pilsley on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire.

You must be mobile, hardworking, enthusiastic and focused on excellence. Initiative, resilience, creativity and self motivation are essential attributes for this role as is experience in a minimum 2 Rosette establishment.

Salary

• Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum dependant on experience.

As a Casual Room Attendant you have a huge impact on the quality of a guests’ experience. The presentation and standards of cleanliness in a guests’ bedroom and bathroom are central to their enjoyment. To be successful in this department, you must have a very good eye for detail as the smallest things often make the biggest difference.

Duties not only include cleaning, but also calculating your daily linen usage, reporting any maintenance problems, handling lost property, ironing for guests, ensuring trolleys are stocked at the end of day and most importantly that rooms are ready for guests arrival. You will work a variety of shifts to suit you and the business.

As an assistant within the Conference & Banqueting team, you will help to ensure that every function meets the highest standards set by the hotel and its clients.
